1.
Vacillate 02:14
Pass the sickness of your simple mind.
2.
Flat Ones 02:59
Natures and misgivings, they're for the living.
3.
The drugs that make you stronger, make the day go longer.
4.
No more work, come help me with my drink.
5.
Barnacles 02:12
And it bleeds the new blood and leaves the new judge hanging on inside.
6.
Headcase 03:42
I know always you'll rule my mind. Please go away, I'll waste my time and be lonely pleasantly. It won't hurt so bad I'll believe.
7.
Never know I'm gonna waste my time until I regret it.
8.
Come Out 03:14
Come out, on the 88th beat now!
9.
Killing Time 02:25
Fear it's justice, killing time again.
10.
In a daze, nonsense static.
11.
The pale evenings, you fear you'll lose. A clear breakfast is what you choose.
12.
Can You 02:26
You divide your anger, it can lay for awhile.
13.
There's a funny pit in my stomach, there's an awful ridge not far from it.
14.
So Long 01:34
A gleaming starlet, my eyes were targets, you had an attitude.

about

Recorded in Kansas City, MO by Drew Van Wagner on an eight track DAT machine in his basement. The first session was in late November 2000 just to get some ideas down. I flew up there on two other weekends and it was mixed on the third, tracking up to the very end. Chris Van Wagner was a very good sport because I told him he needed to play drums after I got there, surely ruining two of his weekends. The album was mostly an acoustic demo and it was recorded on Locust Street. We thought Locust Avenue sounded more interesting, so that's what we called the project.
